BIO
Currently working as a composer for film, Zachariah brings his knack for detail and work ethic into the realm of music. With his affinity for film, he brings an enthusiasm for teamwork and the collaborative project. He believes the most important aspect in life is establishing emotional connections with other people, and he strives to do that through his music.
Hailing from a small midwest town, he aspires to bring a sense of community into his musical endeavors. He is a product of several generations of country and western singers, but raised in an environment where Paul McCartney was as important as Hank Williams. This eclectic upbringing lends a distinctive style to his songwriting and scoring for film. His excitement and enthusiasm for the music of Frank Zappa and Randy Newman has helped to shape his belief that although music has the ability to connect emotionally and to catalyze social change, it also shouldn't take itself too seriously.
